EV Charging Made Easy: Hyundai Mobis Partners with CityVitae to Power Florida Operations

Hyundai Mobis, one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers, has selected CityVitae to install a secure and cost-effective EV charging solution at its Miami facility.

MIAMI, FLORIDA, July 9, 2025 – Hyundai Mobis, one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers, has selected CityVitae to install a secure and cost-effective EV charging solution at its Miami facility. In a competitive bidding process against two publicly listed companies, CityVitae was selected based on its technical capabilities, local presence, and hands-on support.

Unlike gated corporate campuses, Hyundai Mobis’s facility is open to the public. This placed emphasis on designing a system with the flexibility to exclude drivers that do not work at the facility, or charge them a higher fare for charger usage. These adjustments are available right at the fingertips of the facility manager, and can be altered at any time thanks to the CityVitae app.

To keep the project affordable, CityVitae identified a nearby power source that allowed the team to bypass adding costly electrical components, such as new transformers. This decision also allows for the allocation of extra electrical capacity for future expansion, ensuring the system remains compatible with Hyundai Mobis’s as their needs evolve.

“Workplace EV charging plays a powerful role in accelerating adoption. By making charging part of the daily routine, it shifts perceptions and simplifies the transition to electric. Our partnership with Hyundai Mobis proves that impactful infrastructure doesn’t have to be complex or costly as it may seem with some large, highly publicized projects.” — Pere Francino, CEO of CityVitae

With this installation, CityVitae reinforces its role as a leader in intelligent EV charging—delivering flexible, efficient, and scalable infrastructure where it’s needed most.
